AI VISIBILITY AGENCY · PROPRIETARY METHODOLOGY · MEASURABLE RESULTS
We audit, score and improve how businesses appear inside AI search and answer engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.
See exactly how (and where) your business appears in AI answers across the five major systems.
A single score on a 0–1000 scale that shows your visibility across leading AI systems.
See how you stack up against your top competitors in AI search, by vertical and locality.
A clear, prioritised plan of action to improve your score and capture more visibility.
We implement, optimise and track improvements every month under fixed governance.
Every founding vertical has its own Index distribution, its own buyer dynamics, and its own published Practice Group playbook. The methodology is consistent. The execution is vertical-specific.
The AI Discovery Index measures how visible — and how trusted — a business is inside the AI systems that have begun to replace search. Eight signals, one composite, banded A through F, reproducible to ±15 points. Published quarterly under fixed governance.
Read the methodology →Every retained engagement begins with the AI Discovery Audit. Four to six weeks. Fixed scope. Written report against the Standard, banded under the Index, with the three priority signals identified.
View the Audit scope →Three retained offers, sold separately at small-business tier and stacked at mid-market and enterprise. Authority Infrastructure builds the substrate. Citation Engine compounds editorial-grade authority on top.
View pricing →The cross-system correlation is lower than the discourse suggests. ChatGPT and Claude correlate at 0.58; Google AI and Copilot at 0.34. A discovery programme that targets one system reports against a partial denominator.
Read the System Index →The Standard, the Index, and the Annual are public documents in perpetuity. See all resources →
The canonical specification of what AI discoverability is, codifying the definitions, signal taxonomies, and structured-data subsets against which the field is described.
READ THE STANDARD →Methodology, governance, and commercial architecture. Eight signals, the weighting model, the three audit rights, the Committee's constitution.
READ THE INDEX →The inaugural annual review. Ten findings, twelve vertical chapters, five system chapters, and the Authority Premium research.
READ THE ANNUAL →The median pairwise correlation between AI systems is 0.41. A discovery programme that targets one system reports against a partial denominator.
READ THE FINDING →Of the 1,420 constituents in band A across twelve verticals, all but seventeen scored above the 90th percentile on Mention Authority.
READ THE FINDING →Trust signal travels with mention signal more often than chance would predict — and compounds endogenously.
READ THE CHAPTER →AI Discovery is its own discipline, with its own measurement instrument, its own governance, and its own time-to-signal. The honest comparison, on six dimensions.
A discovery programme is not a substitute for SEO, PR, or a marketing agency. It is a separate discipline. The most discoverable businesses run all four in concert.
Pricing is published and reviewed every five years, indexed to inflation. Performance-fee structures are prohibited by the Standards of Professional Conduct.
Fixed-scope diagnostic against the Standard. The entry point to every retained engagement.
Twelve-month retained engagement. The substrate every higher-tier programme builds on.
Foundation, Authority, and Citation Engine in concert. The category-leading engagement.
The Practice Group does not offer performance components, contingency arrangements, or contingent fees. Engagement letters bind the engagement, the conflicts register, and the Standards of Professional Conduct.
We did not set out to build an institution.
We set out to make a market legible.
For twenty years, businesses spent serious money to be discovered through Google. The discipline that arose around that effort — search-engine optimisation — produced an entire profession, an industry of agencies, and a shared way for buyers and sellers to talk about the same problem. The work was imperfect. The reference was shared. A small business and a global brand could agree on what "position three" meant.
That reference is now eroding. AI systems answer in paragraphs. Their answers are derived from corpora no third party can observe. Two users asking the same question receive different answers. The screenshot no longer settles the dispute. The market that once organised itself around search rank is, today, transacting on faith.
We started this work because the alternative — a market worth billions, conducted in a medium nobody had measured in public — was not a market we wanted to participate in. The Standard, the Index, and Certified are our attempt to give the field what every previous distribution medium eventually acquired: a shared denominator, a governed measurement, a credentialed profession, an annual ledger.
The institution will, in time, outlast the people who founded it. That is the test. If, in 2046, a journalist writing about AI-mediated commerce can quote the Index by name without explanation — and find the same Committee's methodology behind it, revised but recognisable — we will have built what we set out to build.
If you are a business that wants to be discoverable inside AI systems, you do not need to wait for the institution to mature. You need to begin. Every retained engagement begins with the Audit. We will tell you, in writing, where you stand under the Standard, what would change it, and whether the engagement is right for you.
Eight questions that recur in our intake conversations, answered without the marketing apparatus.
It is empirically possible to argue either side. The Founding Quarter Index data records that high-intent professional-services discovery is already mediated by AI systems at material levels — for legal, accounting, cosmetic, real estate, and financial advice in particular. We do not sell against scepticism; we present the data and invite the buyer to read it.
SEO optimises for the search-engine results page. AI Discovery optimises for the visibility, authority, and trust signal that AI systems use when they answer questions on behalf of users. The methodologies share roots but diverge in execution. In our Founding Quarter data, the cross-correlation between SEO standing and AI Discovery standing is weaker than the discourse suggests.
Structural signals typically register at the first post-engagement Index publication — that is, 30 to 90 days. Authority signals typically register over six to twelve months. We set expectations in writing in the engagement proposal. We do not promise headline-band movement in the first quarter.
No. The Standards of Professional Conduct prohibit fee structures contingent on Index movement, and we apply that rule to performance guarantees regardless of contractual form. What we offer is documented methodology, quarterly Index reporting, and the discipline of an engagement structured to produce measurable signal movement.
The Index is operated by a Committee of seven, appointed for staggered three-year terms, with disclosed conflicts published quarterly and voting records published in the Reproducibility Pack. The Committee operates constitutionally independently of the commercial leadership of AI Discovery the firm.
The Index methodology is itself stable and is revised only under formal procedures with continuity guarantees. AI systems do change frequently; the engagement is designed to address fundamental signals — authority, citation source quality, entity resolution — that have proven durable across system changes to date.
The Practice Group does not serve solo and very small practices directly. The Practitioner Channel exists for that population — independent credentialled Practitioners working under their own brand serve solo and very-small clients at $1,000–$3,000 per month under the institution's methodology and Standards of Professional Conduct.
Many firms can build the capability in-house. The methodology is published but its application is non-trivial; the Citation Engine programme depends on editorial relationships that take years to build; sustained measurement requires Index Pro subscription. We support firms whose preference is in-house — we offer a single-day methodology workshop and Index Pro seats at the published price.
Every retained engagement begins with the Audit. Four to six weeks. Fixed scope. Written recommendation. Approximately sixty percent of Audits convert to Foundation; the remaining forty percent close at the Audit, with our explicit endorsement of that decision where it is the right one for the firm.
