Businesses spent twenty years optimising for Google. AI is replacing search. We are the institution building the Standard, the Index, the credential, the Annual, and the Summit that make the new field measurable, governed, and durable.
An index is the moment a market becomes legible to itself.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average preceded modern equity research by three decades. The Nielsen ratings preceded modern television advertising by two. The S&P 500 preceded passive investing by half a century. In each case, the institution that produced the measurement defined the field that followed.
AI Discovery occupies that position for the era in which artificial-intelligence systems mediate the discovery of every product, professional, and place. We are not an agency. We are not a SaaS platform. We are an institution — five interdependent bodies that, taken together, define and govern a new field of professional practice.
The Standard codifies what AI discoverability is. The Index measures it, in public, on a fixed quarterly cadence, under disclosed governance. Certified credentials the practitioners qualified to do the work. The Annual reports the year. The Summit convenes the field. The Charter binds them all under constitutional independence from the commercial leadership of AI Discovery the firm.
The institution will, in time, outlast the people who founded it. That is the test. If, in 2046, a journalist writing about AI-mediated commerce can quote the Index by name without explanation — and find the same Committee's methodology behind it — we will have built what we set out to build.
