Pricing · Edition 1.0

Pricing, in plain view.

The institution publishes its pricing because the alternative — pricing kept private until the second meeting — is the practice of the previous discipline, and the institution's view is that the previous discipline was wrong.

Principle 01

Engagement-priced, not commission-priced.

The institution prices on professional services rendered. We do not price on enquiry volume, sales attributed, or commission earned. Sales-linked compensation creates conflicts the Standard cannot tolerate.

Principle 02

Annual or quarterly, in writing.

Engagements are quoted annually with quarterly review points. The Master Engagement Letter and its schedules apply to every engagement; nothing material is held outside the writing.

Principle 03

Score Engine, included or licensed.

The proprietary Score Engine is included in mid-market and enterprise engagements. It is also available as a separate institutional licence for buyers whose own teams will operate it.

Five tiers

The five tiers.

Most subjects begin with the Audit. From there, the engagement tier is matched to the subject's scope. The Score Engine Institutional Licence is a separate offer for buyers operating the technology themselves.

Frequently asked

The questions before the Audit.

Why publish pricing at all?

The institution's view is that pricing held private until the second meeting is a habit of the previous discipline — designed to maximise the agency's optionality at the buyer's expense. The institution prefers transparency, and accepts the consequence of disqualifying buyers for whom the pricing is wrong.

Is the Audit credited against an engagement?

Yes, at the institution's election. Where an Audit is followed by a Small Business, Mid-Market, or Enterprise engagement within ninety days of delivery, the Audit fee is credited against the first quarter's invoice. The institution does not require a subsequent engagement; the Audit is a complete deliverable on its own terms.

What does the Score Engine actually do?

The Score Engine is the proprietary technology that computes the AI Discovery Score across the eight signals. It runs the prompt-set instrumentation across ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini, scores citations against the Source Register, and produces the longitudinal record visible in the console. It is the institution's instrument; the Score and Index are its outputs.

Mid-market and enterprise engagements include console access. Institutional licensees receive console access plus API access for integration into their own analytics infrastructure.

Why is the Institutional Licence priced where it is?

The Institutional Licence sits in the price band of the comparable institutional measurement products — Bloomberg Terminal at the institutional level, S&P Capital IQ Pro, Refinitiv Workspace. The pricing reflects the depth of the underlying methodology, the cost of the prompt-set instrumentation, and the dedicated practitioner liaison that comes with the licence. Three-year terms are available with material discount.

Do you discount?

The institution does not discount the published pricing. Where engagement scope changes — a smaller subject set, a shorter term, a deferred Score Engine activation — the pricing is rescoped, not discounted. The published pricing is the floor; multi-year commitments at the Score Engine tier carry standing reductions.

What if my organisation doesn't fit any tier?

Write to the institution. The five tiers describe the substantial majority of engagements, but bespoke arrangements are made under Specially Negotiated Terms within the Master Engagement Letter framework. Press, regulatory, and academic enquiries are handled separately.

The institution begins with the Audit.

Whichever tier eventually fits, every engagement begins with the Audit. The Audit is a complete deliverable on its own terms — and the institution's calling card.
